Android Lollipop update via OTA file for Nexus.

How to block adult sites in windows.

3. Find the "Family safety" and click on that. It will show up a new window showing your accounts. Click on the account for which you want to block adult sites.

4. You will see a new window showing "User settings". You will find two options: "Family Safety" and "Activity reporting". Select "on, enforce current settings" under the "Family Safety tab".

5. Click on the "Web Filtering". You can find that option on the same window, right under the "Activity reporting" Tab.

6. You will find the option showing “can only use the websites I allow.” Click on that.

7. Finally you will find several options for restrictions. Most of them will block adult sites by default. For example to block sites which are not suitable for children select "Designed for children."

Follow these steps and you will find that all the adult sites are blocked from your windows 8 PC.

For Windows 7 and Vista:

1. First log in to your windows 7 based PC from your Admin pannel. Click Start and open Control Panel. Find the “Set up Parental Controls” below the section labeled “User Accounts.” Click on the account from which you want to block adult sites. Click "on, enhance current settings" under the "Paternal Control".

2. Click "allow or block specific program". 

3. A new window will appear. Click on the ""For kids can only use the programs I allow"" option. Select "High" or "Low" according to your restriction level. Close the window.

You have successfully blocked adult sites from your windows 7. This method is also applicable for Windows Vista.

First open your notepad from 
Start>All programs>Accessories>Notepad. (For windows 7)
Or you can simply right click on any black space in windows and then go to new and open notepad. (For windows 7 and 8 or earlier)

Step 2:
After opening the notepad type the code below:

@echo off
taskkill /IM (name of program here. Example: notepad.exe) /F
color 0a (optional, looks better)
pause (optional too)

After that click on the file at the top right corner of Notepad and click save as. Then save the file as namehere.bat. Don't forget to give the extension .bat. (In the namehere put your applications name which you want to close)

Step 3:
At last open the startup folder and move the file you created to that startup folder.

Google Play edition of HTC Ones could get the Lollipop update on Monday!

HTC one M8 and M7, the Google play versions will get their Lollipop update on Monday. The Taiwanese company said that the update will be made available for the customers as soon as Google approves that.

HTC's vice President of Product management Mo Versi confirmed that the update will be released on Monday. The update was confirmed on November 14 before. The confirmation was published from his Twitter account. First he twitted that the update will be available on November 14, then he again twitted saying that the update has been delayed because of Google approval was delayed and the update may be released on November 21.
On November 21 there was no sign of releasing update. Versi said that they were still awaiting Google's approval.
Versi twitted this week that the final SW for HTC one M7 and M8 are in Google's quality assurance lab and the SW may be released by the end of Monday.

Bear in mind that the update will only be available for the Google Play versions. So if you own a non Google play version, you may have to wait for a little bit longer.

How to disable write protection in USB pendrive and SD card.

Last night I faced a problem with my pendrive. I was unable to copy or delete anything! It was really an annoying thing to me. I thought a quick format might fix the issue. So I tried to format my pendrive. But it was showing a strange message that "The drive is write protected".
So I tried searching the internet and I got this method:
1. Disabling write protect in usb pendrive and SD card:
In this method you have to work with the registry editor so be careful. You have to temporarily change permission through registry editor.
First open the registry editor by simply typing regedit in the search menue. If you are windows 8 user simply type regedit when you are in the start screen.

Next find the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". You will find this in the computer tab in the registry editor. Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder. 

Open the "SYSTEM" folder and then expand the "CurrentControlSet" folder. Then open the control folder. Find the "StorageDevicePolicies" folder. If you can't find it then create one. For creating this folder right click on the blank space of the "Control" folder and then new > Key. Name the folder with "StorageDevicePolicies".

Now open the "StorageDevicePolicies" folder and find the "WriteProtect" entry. Double click the file and change the “Value data” filed from 1 to 0. If the "WriteProtect" is not there then you have to create one. For that right click on the blank space, then New > DWORD. Now name that new file with "WriteProtect" and change the value to 0.

Restart you computer and VOA!

Special case: If you are facing this problem with your SD card then first find the lock button in you SD card. Some SD cards have lock button. This lock button some times causes the issue.

Dropbox is integrating with Microsoft office for iOS, Android and windows.

Microsoft and Microsoft has announced a new partnership this month and according to this partnership Microsoft and Dropbox will work together to integrate Dropbox Support into Microsoft's Office. Currently the Android and iOS version of MS office supports dropbox.

This new feature allows user to upload and store the office files such as MS power point, Excel, Word or documents in Dropbox. So user can edit whenever they want by simply downloading the files from Dropbox with MS office. Michael Jaffe, manager of Dropbox said that "It　will also include the ability to send links to files from Office using Dropbox, open documents from Dropbox in Office, and more," on Tuesday. Anyone who are using iOS and Android can start now said Jaffe. They simply have to open the document they want to edit and simply tap the "Edit in Office" tab.

Microsoft will also allow you to keep all the files (Office) in sync with Dropbox now. As currently dropbox hosts over 35 billion Office Documents it seems really a wise move by Microsoft and Dropbox.
